Terms of service

These terms govern your use of the DriveBudget app and are a legal agreement between you and DriveBudget ("DriveBudget", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them.

What DriveBudget is

DriveBudget is a tool for tracking and estimating the cost of owning a car: fuel, insurance, loan payments, maintenance, repairs, parking, tax and any other cost you log. It calculates totals, trends, projections and a Car Financial Score from the figures you provide and from defaults you can override.

DriveBudget is not financial, tax, insurance or legal advice. Every number the app shows you, including projections, savings estimates and the Car Financial Score, is an informational estimate based on the data you entered and on typical baseline parameters. We do not guarantee specific savings or financial outcomes.

Accounts and data

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You must provide accurate information and keep your email address current.

You own all data you enter into DriveBudget (vehicles, expenses, notes). You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that data solely to provide the service to you. We do not sell or monetize your data.

Subscriptions, billing and cancellation

DriveBudget offers free features and optional auto-renewing subscriptions ("DriveBudget Pro") for premium features such as unlimited vehicles, multi-year outlook forecasts, and advanced multi-car analytics.

• Payment: Payment is charged to your Apple ID Account or Google Play Account at confirmation of purchase.
• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Account Charging: Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the price of the selected plan.
• Managing Subscriptions: You can manage and cancel your subscriptions anytime in your Apple ID Account Settings or Google Play Store subscriptions.
• Free Trials: Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when purchasing a subscription, where applicable.

Acceptable use

You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the app, nor use the service in any unlawful manner or in violation of any applicable regulations.

Termination and account deletion

You may stop using DriveBudget and delete your account at any time via Settings > Delete Account in the app. Upon deletion, your data is permanently removed from our active databases.

Disclaimer of warranties & limitation of liability

DriveBudget is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall DriveBudget or its developers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the service.

Governing law

These terms and any disputes arising out of or related to them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable consumer laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
